I think the overall feeling on Texa Ags is Sdao will get the nod

Who knows how

There’s even a “start Freshcorn” thread

If Sdao starts, we lose. Earley has to know that much

Freshcorn got the start and did everything he could to will them to victory. Earley left him in too long (as usual) and no offense showed up to help. All around pitiful performance by everyone except Freshcorn.
Losing some very talented players this offseason to the draft and safe to assume a few more will leave in the portal. Earley has work to do

Lots of pitch chasing. No clutch hits. No offense.

Had the feeling it was just a matter of time the entire game.

I guess we’ll get to see what’s in the portal

It was a lot of fun for a good stretch of SEC play. One nice thing about the portal.. iits entirely possible to completely change the pitching outlook with just a couple of key additions.

Was a good season considering my lowered expectations.

Also.., those USC bats got hot! Real hot.

Frustrating end to the season, but not unexpected. And I do not foresee any staff changes in the off-season. We'll need some serious success in the portal.

Earley did enough to get another year, but man he drove things off the rails very quickly. Tough job ahead now that pretty much everything from the championship-level program he took over is gone.

Easy to look at the potential core for next year and be excited.
Partita, Kellner, Wilson, Kiel, Freshcorn, Sims, I believe Farr as well. Obviously everyone has to stay and we need to attack the portal but we have another good class coming in this year too. The foundation is there, now we see what Earley can do

Easy to leave pitcher in too long when there is no pitching on the roster. We were never winning that game given the pitching situation. That is the harsh reality. Now the pitching coach is gone let’s see what happens.

We need some elite pitching out of the portal. At least the new pitching lab will be done soon.

For the life of me I have no idea how the pitching became so terrible. No plus arms, and the ones we had not developed. And you cannot fire a coach that hosted regionals in a small revenue sport. Not unless you have stupid money. Earley’s fate will be decided this offseason in coaching decisions and portal

Well I quickly was shown to be wrong on that one. But keep in mind that Kelly's contract expires June 30, so not renewing it/firing him are in effect, the same thing.

Let's see if Earley makes the right hire.

I haven’t checked TexAgs, you saying we let the pitchers coach go?
