If they can beat us 2 in a row, they deserve it. But I expect our boys to give ‘em hell. It’s still right there in front of us.

Agree. We had chances and didn't get the hit we needed to go up by 2 runs or even 3 runs.
Uncharistically we have also burned some runners on base. 2 today on first.. yikes. We don't have enough offense to overcome this kind of stuff vs Tenner.
Cortez did all he could do. Hats off to him. Tenner pitching today was damn good.

Props to Cortez. Dudes been a weapon for us this post season and showed up today big time! Hate that we weren’t able to finish the job, what was it? Two 2 strike counts with two outs? Rough but it’s all good, this team is gonna show up tomorrow! Gotta believe!

Cortez didn’t have his A stuff and still grinded out a legendary performance.
Today is the day. We have a chance to change the baseball program forever. A chance to break the seal on championships. We’re the underdog. We deserve to be the underdog. But this is far from decided. We’re going to need Lamkin, Stewy, and Aschenbeck to be brilliant. We need the offense to get back to who we are. Grind. Watch pitches outside the zone. Pass the baton. Jump on mistakes.
