The hitting with runners on or in scoring position has to be ridiculously low.

Didn't get to catch the game, how bad was it?

Not bad, but 8 LOB and hit into 1 DP.

I think Kaler needs to move out of the lead off spot. He's left 9 stranded in the last 4 games alone. He's not doing his job and setting the table for the big bats. When the bottom is doing its job, he's not bringing them home. Lets get our best hitter more ABs.

If we can run out something like:
Rock
Moss
Weiner
Minnich
Bost
Claunch

Ignoring L/R here because I don't have them all memorized yet

I think that lineup is going to produce better than what we have now. Maybe Weiner will be back for the tourney this weekend. A sweep here would make you feel all warm and fuzzy.

Yup. Curtis, Cortez, and Rudis all looked fine. Unforced errors were a minor issue.

They scored on an error-wild pitch-ground out in the 6th then a double-passed ball-sack fly in the 7th.

It was just too close for comfort because the offense only gave us 3 and they doubled in the 8th.

SERIES NOTES
The Aggies and Washington State have met 14 times with the Maroon & White owning a 9-5 edge. This will mark the fourth city the teams have met. In addition to 11 games at Olsen Field, they have met once in Fresno, California and twice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The most recent meeting had the Aggies winning two-of-three at Olsen Field in 2010.

The Aggies own a 6-0 edge in the all-time series against Iowa. The teams first met for a pair of games in 1930, A&M victories of 9-6 and 9-0. The Maroon & White won two games at Olsen Field in 1989, 7-1 and 7-4. Two of the meetings have come at the NCAA Tournament. The Aggies beat the Hawkeyes, 9-6, in an elimination game at the 1975 NCAA Norman Regional. The most recent contest came at the 2017 NCAA Houston Regional with the Maroon & White claiming a 3-2 victory to advance to the championship game.

This marks Texas A&M's first meeting against long-time college baseball power Wichita State.

All games of the Frisco Classic can be seen via the subscription-based FloBaseball service with Chris Mycoskie and Mike Hardge on the call. Fans may tune in in the Brazos Valley on 1150 AM/93.7 FM or inside the 12th Man Mobile App. Additionally, live stats are available for fans to follow all three games at peakeventsstats.com.

Horrible bandwidth problems by FloSports. They should be ashamed. Of course they won't, because they have my $30.

Gamewise? Got our butts kicked. Detmer was off. On the other side, way too many strikeouts. Much better outing tonight.

The other team keeps scoring more runs than we do.

I didn't watch either. Being busy and $30 to watch does that.
