Still no national outrage from ESPN against Nick Saban.
Saban/Alabama has earned that privilege.

Haven't seen a single second of film, but there sure as hell better be
Apparently looking for more playing time. Welcome to the land of opportunity

Brandon Martin, #1 JUCO WR, decommitted from Auburn this week. He was originally enrolled at Prime Time Prep in Houston and has some academic issues to resolve.

Do we know when Kary Vincent is commuting? Heard it could be this weekend.

Was supposed to be the 10th. Pretty sure he postponed. Which seems like a good thing for us.

Summer roster is out on 12thman page.
Looks like we added a JUCO DT, Jesse Brown, from Navarro JC (originally from Katy). I don't know the quality of talent he played against, but I like his motor.
LINK
John Clark (5'8" 185 lbs.) was offered a "preferred walk-on" slot at RB. He rushed for over 1500 yards and 25 TDs his Senior year and was a 3 year starter out of IL.
LINK
Jake Graham (TE/FB)
LINK
Luke Laufenberg (TE) Big target, who played with Starkel. Comes from a football family (father is Babe Laufenberg Ex-Cowboy QB). Chose A&M over Arkansas.
LINK
LINK
Justice Bean (Kendrick Rogers teammate).
LINK
Sam Phillips from CA powerhouse De La Salle. He is a WR/TE. Love the way he plays special teams.
LINK
Several LB walk-ons too. 2 from TX and one from AL.Looks like they all project to play inside. Keeath Magee II is the only one that was rated (2*).

I would not be surprised if Justice Bean is a fan favorite before he leaves Aggieland.

Did we not hire another coach named Turner from Mississippi State? Why is he not on the coach roster?

LINK shows this fine example of a man:
ETA: I see you're talking about the roster page. No idea. My guess is an oversight.

Still have my fingers crossed

He has to be cleared by the A&M academic side I believe so it would likely be fall when he enrolls at this point

Hamm hinting hard that Stidham is extremely interested in A&M. I think you have to take him even if it costs you Mond for some reason. You would still have Stidham for 2017 then likely redshirt sophomore Nick Starkel and redshirt freshman Connor Blumrick in 2018 if he sets the world on fire and goes pro.

Wasn't he really interested in A&M out of high school until we went all in on kyler? Pretty sure he was our first QB offer of that class

Hell yes you do. 2017 is poised to be our big drop-off year and this would help mightily to arrest that fall. It's also what you may call the "time-value of college football talent". You take confirmed capability now over potential talent in the future. Winning now gets you an order of magnitude better recruiting which on the balance, talent-wise, will outweigh whatever lost future talent you may incur because a kid is scared of the competition.
If this actually goes down and and we get Knight for a year and then Stidham for a year, Babyface and Tattoo transferring may turn out to be one of the best things that has happened to us.

That's what I heard back at the time. He was our staff's real #1 and the feeling was reciprocated. Until we had to offer Tattoo because his dad was our 1980s "greatest eva" and him going to UTw would have been a nightmare.

If we have Stidham and Turner is able to really develop some of the younger guys on the line like Koda Martin, Keaton Sutherland, Lanfear, etc the offense could be legit. Kirk and Keith Ford should be back, RSJ is probably gone but there are plenty of young pass catchers who could step up with a legit QB and good line
That defense in 2017 though, woof

Why do y'all let Hamm do this to you?
In all seriousness, I hope Stidham stays away from CS. Is it true he can't go play in the Big 12 next year even if he goes to JC this year?
