Duvernay's botched LOI got his unconditional release. I haven't read anything about any other players being released. Did I miss news on this? I wouldn't think BU would let players transfer in conference if they could help it.

I thought it was Sherm who directly recruited all those NFL OLs we had?
We know if Turner earned his money when the season starts and the line doesn't look like complete crap anymore.

If Jim Turner could recruit as well as Kyle Allen throws interceptions, Patrick Hudson would already be committed.

Negative Nancy! A&M may get a few of those 4. And in any case, Charlie and company still have to coach up the ones they get, which he has shown absolutely no ability to do. (Malik Jefferson doesn't count. He was already a stud.)

Don't remember where I read it now, but it said with already adding Duvernay they only have two more scholarships available. So unless Strong does some fast processing of current players they don't have much room.

Highly unlikely. But I hope you're right.
And Strong has been terrible on the field so far in Austin, but acting like he hasn't developed any talent (there or at UL) is dumb. I'm all for making fun of UT, but don't be ignorant about it.
