Briles systematically targeted maximally thuggish guys. Guys who either weren't being recruited by the bigger programs because they were known grade risks/druggies/theives/rapists in HS or guys who had already been kicked out of other college programs for robbery, violence, rape, or drugs. He scoured the nation for his Devils Rejects and assembled them in Waco where the private school made sure their grades were high enough, the local PD aided as best they could in not pressing charges or making things go away when they happened, and the AD and the football staff covered up misdeeds of all sorts and intimidated victims.
There are a LOT of super talented athletes no one has ever heard of because they couldn't make the grade or stay off drugs or out of trouble. If you could assemble all of those guys together on one prison team they'd be pretty darn good. For a while, that's what Baylor DID.

The methodology behind the Fulmer Cup is totally bogus.
There needs to be a cap on how many points any one individual can rack up.
Otherwise, you end up with a situation like Colorado where ONE guy wilds out after a girl throws water on him while he's passed out drunk and gets a zillion points.

Haha okay guys. When I first started at 247, Hamm wanted to take me 'under his wing' and said I reminded him of a young version of himself. He said I could learn a lot from the best -- even though I had experience with the Cowboys, DMN and Rivals/Scout. But whatever, I played a long. After a while, I got tired of his unprofessional antics and stopped responding/sharing info. He said I was disrespecting the best and then made up rumors of me being a pizza boy -- not sure why lol. When Texas landed everybody in the 16 class and Hamm got all of his predictions wrong, he sent me a text hours after signing day that said 'this isn't over.' I lol'd and then he went on a tirade on how I got lucky on my picks and that he was the best. I then said he could learn from the best and called him an angry little elf and he blew my phone up with obscene texts. TBH, I feel like he's just threatened by me and knows I'm naturally more relatable with kids (hence his voice change). But I don't even want to be compared in any way or put in any type of category with a dude like that lol.
