Hamm reported Sumlin didn't call Stidham back.
Noel Mazzone met with him however.

So basically, pubes is as unreliable as CNN.

I expect Gumbs, Etienne and Sheffield to hop on shortly. We're taking 30-32 this year. Jones and Wilson are still real possibilities.

Any truth to the rumor of James White transferring?

He's a program shill, so much so that he has a physical contract Texags signed with the AD requiring them to filter all reporting through AD channels.
Most programs have this and they view the recruiting services as a "weapon/tool". That is why I was trying to tone down what people were posting on the boards last year. I had an acquaintance who was a P5 recruiting coordinator, rip negative posts from 247 and Texags for ammunition to keep kids from states outside of TX (won't get into specifics) from visiting last year.

Get over yourself. Also, no other top program in the country is worried about that shite. Go to any SEC programs 247 board and read a thread.

Ausbon would be a top 10 guy if he wasn't at IMG, but it is ridiculous. OOS teams are dominating in TX right now

LSU QB commit is visiting Auburn this weekend.
"One-time Auburn commit Lowell Narcisse, a 4-star quarterback now committed to LSU, plans to officially visit Auburn this weekend, according to 247Sports' Sonny Shipp.
Narcisse, of St. James (La.), is the No. 6 dual-threat quarterback in the 247Sports Composite.
Auburn's recruitment of Narcisse is not a sign the Tigers feel down about their chances with 5-star quarterback recruit Jarrett Stidham. They'd simply like two quarterbacks in the class if possible.
Current commit Tray Bishop, who once wanted a shot at quarterback, now plans to play safety in college..."

Yeah, it is even more depressing if you look at top 25.
Granted ausbon and mond would be top 25 guys, but to see the list and only one aTm out beside it is really depressing.

wouldn't melt over Stidham yet FWIW, Liucci is completely wrong. So wrong I suspect he's lying to his subscribers.
If he goes to Auburn it won't be because we stopped expressing interest.
The old "We didn't want him anyway" if we don't get him/"We knew we had him but he wanted us to keep it secret" if we do get him routine ehh?

No no no, that's impossible, Herman was visiting him yesterday and everyone knows he's getting all our recruits

Maybe that's a good thing. Let out of state coaches come in and let High Schools know that playing the spread with no defense is a terrible way to run a team. It makes soft players.

Have to stop Ohio State getting these kids damn

I understand what you're trying to say, but how does this make sense contextually?
It's good OOS schools are stealing our best players because maybe our HS coaches will start to think their leagues aren't competitive nationally due to style of play?
And they are going to get that message because of the high demand of TX athletes nationally?
Should we buy a bunch of Samsungs to teach them a lesson about exploding batteries?

It makes sense because almost every damn HS program in the state runs the spread and puts their best athletes on offense. That trickles down to our local colleges. How many of our state's college programs run a pro style offense or can run the ball physically (I can't think of any that matter)? How many P5 Texas schools have a good defense (none)? It just seems that our state's colleges have embraced the HS product and have adopted it as their own. And now, it doesn't seem like either side is going to blink first because they both do it.
Getting some OOS college coaches to come in and show our HS coaches how they do it could lead to a change in how High Schools use their players and the type of offenses they run. Maybe putting some more attention on defense and teaching defensive fundamentals is what this state needs. I hate to say this, but we have some soft players coming out of this state on defense. And it's all thanks to the up-tempo, spread offenses that want to outscore everyone.
