Taking him would mean stabbing current players and incoming freshmen in the back while risking his drama. I like the pass.

Yeah, I like it too. His whole recruitment process with Texas Tech and Baylor screamed "drama". I think he may have gotten a truck out of his commitment flip due to him living with his HS coach or something weird like that.
Saving us the drama and just getting a decent dual threat QB may be Sumlin's best recruiting strategy right now. Mond doesn't have the arm, but maybe sending him to a QB camp over the summers will help him get ready when the tune comes for him to start. Sumlin should just close in on Hines (decides tomorrow iirc) and maybe look at some JUCOs on the defensive side and OL (specifically center).

Taking him would mean salvaging next season, and thus, our program.
Passing on him as Sumlin is doing is suicide.
If we don't get Studham, there's no point in even turning on A&M games next year. We may as well just forfeit the season.

Yeah, Hubes, who sucks as we all have witnessed, Nick Starkel, a 3* who will be a redshirt freshman, and Kellen Mond, who will be a true fish, who has only a 55% completion percentage even though he is throwing to future NFL WRs on a private HS all-star team.
