im not real big on pro sports (mainly cause im a houston fan) but listening to the talking heads, seeing the online polls about this series, all of it makes me want to crack skulls. Hardheaded M'Fers refuse to recognize.

What a ballgame. Give Tanaka props but Keuchel is a stud.

We’re throwing the best pitcher of the last decade. He went 2-0 vs the Sox and was damn near unhittable in the regular season as an Astro.

Our offense is the best in baseball and got held to 2 runs at home. Doubt Yanks do that again.

No reason not to feel good.

But it’s baseball. One hot pitcher and a few mistakes we could lose 9-1.

Was a little tense, but great fricking game. 9 innings from Verlander. Altuve and Correa took care of business.

Farmer, who's on the mound and how do we stack up?

Ground chuck aka uncle Charlie Morton. He’s elite the first time through the line up and elite (now with the improvements the Houston staff made with him) at getting lefties out. Yanks have 3 lefties and a few switch hitters. I expect Charlie to go 3 then look for him to have a super short leash after that. Then without the game four starter announced yet I expect A combo of Peacock/Musgrove, Devo, & Kenneth to close it out.

I also will continue to beat the drum of you can only keep our offense down for so long. 4 runs over 2 games for us is an outlier.

I agree and I'm also ready for the Astros bats to come alive

And throwing out a bunch of lefties didn't work out so well for Boston

Look at the #s we hit well vs lefties. Almost as good and even better in some cases than vs righties. It was the runs scored that was somehow down vs lefties. It was a bit of an anomaly.

So frustrating. And the worst part is I was 99% sure we were going to lose as soon as we gave up that first home run. Really don't want to lose to the Yankees, their fans really suck. Here's to hoping our bats come alive.
