I was being very sarcastic.
It's too early in the season to be confident. A&M has a good team. We will be lucky to take 2 in College Station, if that.

Beat that Tiger arse, and saved our bullpen to do it. LSU's hitters look flaccid, we could very well sweep. Auburn's bats were entirely better.

Based on 1 game, yessir. But I still haven't figured out if Auburn bats were that good or our pitching sucked last weekend. Probably both. I'd sure love a sweep to knock LSU down into a 1-5 hole before Mainieri rights the ship.

I didn't see much of game 3 but both Vines and Ivey were not particularly good last weekend. Auburn made them pay for those mistakes but they made a lot of em

I'm really unsure of this being good. I guess RC made the decision Hill isn't coming back because he let him throw around 40 pitches.
Tomorrow it's....Larkins to setup? I'm not as enthused with the depth of our bullpen as the SECN announcers seem to be.

We only used 2 pitchers in what should have been a shut out. I'll take it. RC seems to be in love with the 2 inning close. We have Ecker for 1 game and Hendrix for the other. That means we will only need a bridge for 1-2 innings unless something goes terribly wrong. Between Larkins, Ty, & maybe Vinson & Martin we should be able to handle it. After all if we're only relying on 3 starters & 3 guys out of the pen then then we're not going to make a deep run. Others guys have to step up.
Oh I wouldn't 100% count out seeing Hill on Saturday.

yeah, you';re right, it's never bad to only using 2 pitchers but I really like what Hill brings and I hate not having him for later. Hopefully both Ivey/Simonds put in work so the bridge is a short one. There aren't really any more easy games so there's no time to get guys work (I mean ffs, we are @UH midweek and then @UF)
Right now I have no faith in Martin and we seem to use Ty situationally only. I guess what I really should say is our bullpen scares me. We really need to get it straightened out because clearly guys like Vinson and Martin have talent.
Btw, when was the last time Vinson pitched? Seems like a few weeks ago. Did he get shut down and no one asked RC about it?
