Last year was pretty interesting too and I think most thought A&M and Vandy were fighting for the last spot and the committee shocked with Mizzou State.
One angle I'm not sure is being discussed much if at all is that now it's assumed 4 SEC, 3 ACC, and Tech. Well, the ACC is actually a higher RPI conference and there are 4 ACC teams in the top 7 in RPI.
Clemson at 9 is a no go but the other 4 all have decent national seed resumes. Could it be 4 ACC, 3 SEC? Seems unlikely right now, but weird things happen

But looking at the remaining it shows how much movement there can still be. No one is head and shoulders above the others besides UF
And I thought MSU may technically be the safest with their remaining schedule. But then I looked at their needs report
I'm not saying they shouldn't win 6 of 7 at least but just winning @ Auburn 2-1 and vs Arkansas 2-1 and they'd finish outside the top 16? How would the committee view that? (obviously there is still Hoover to move it but I'm just assuming things stay about the same)

In agreement with that order.
Things just seems to change quickly. Go back 2 weeks and we felt pretty strongly about UCSB fighting for the final national seed, assuming the win the Big West & beat CSF. Now they lose to some shite school and will be near bottom of the potential host schools.

How much money has nick banks cost himself this season?
I was thinking about this the other day, anyone know where's he's projected to go in the draft now? I believe he was thought to be a first round pick entering the season? Or has this season had minimal negative impact on his draft stock?

I have no fricking idea what happened to him. The rest of the team is tearing it up so I strongly doubt it's coaching. The injury to start the season maybe still bothering him?

I've wondered that too. It's hard to play any sport with a tender back, and swinging a bat is a real problem. Any reliable info out there on this?

Agreed. I wish there was a game, but it keeps our staff fresher. We're going to need it this weekend. A series win in Colombia really set this regular season apart from recent ones. We're usually good for a big series or 2, sometimes 3. But how often are the 1, 3, 6, 8, 11, and 12 teams on your schedule in a given year. If we win in SC then at worst we finish 4-2 vs that hellacious schedule.

Agreed. Although I think we have a few guys that could use the work. Don't think Ivey has pitched in quite a while and Vines and Kilkenny didn't this weekend for sure. And when was the last time Martin threw?
