Am I alone in thinking UH will get a big 12 invite soon?

It would be a good move for the conference, but the other Texas schools will never allow it.

I hope not. I like be the legitimate option for Houstonites.

Only texass would oppose it, it would make Baylor and TCU's position stronger is texass tries to is up the conference again.
Others always call us a sleeping giant but UH and UCF are both really sleeping giants. Huge enrollment decent academics.

Given that makes sense, sort of. Thanks.

Jordan Elliot, Dixie Wooten, and a 3* DE just committed to Houston as well. #WRTS(excepthouston)

I'm not going to lie.. I'm pretty shocked at this movement....They're trending to land Tyrie Cleveland next supposedly too. That would be a pretty big blow for us, because he's our #1 target there.

Getting out recruited by Houston.

Sounds like the checks cleared. Houston bag men doing work.

They've blown their load too early. It'll help them sign a great class by houston standards, but they won't keep everyone down the stretch. Especially with how DT desperate austin is.

pretty much. if last year proved anything, once the bigger programs get desperate towards the end of the cycle, all hell will break loose and i just dont see UH holding on to these guys

you're probably looking at Hermann being the next Texas head coach in 2-3 years. And that wouldn't be good, imo....
No worries, by then we'll steal Chad Morris from SMU.

Derrick Griffin podsibilitu building a little steam. Enough that Hamm reported on it. No news on the staff side of things yet, but it could end up being a quick deal like the Keith ford transfer.
Would make '13 look even better

I'm all for counting him toward 2013. Let's get hoza Scott for 2014. The return of all of our kids who couldn't qualify

DAMNIT! Don't get my hopes up again about this kid.

He was far and away my favorite commit from that class.
What is his actual situation? Last I heard he went JC but quit? Maybe that was hoza?

What happened to him? Did he go juco? Help out someone with a bad memory!

Not sure, hopefully ng fills us in, but I just remember watching some of his basketball games and being blown away by how physical and athletic he was, and imagining that on the football field.

He went to a prep school, and then to Texas state. He was never on the football team roster, or on scholarship. Provided his own way to school thru the help of financial aid etc. he's apparently completed the necessary hours (27) with the required gpa (>2.0) that he could be eligible this fall.
He has been working out with APEX, so he's apparently ready to rock and roll.
Supposed to touch base sometime this week after the holiday weekend is over.
He's a monster. He has insane upside, and great hands. He does a great job of high pointing the ball. He's a physical specimen who blocks violently as well.
Hubenak, Ford, and Griffin... Pretty salty if it goes down.
