If we had our choice of 2 of the following, who do you want?

Dillion Sterling Cole
Jalen Hurts
Khalil Tate
Justice Hansen
Trevor Knight

Spav is not as bad of a QB coach as everyone seems to think. He can make a QB successful in the air raid offense.

Just keep him away from the playbook he's clearly not ready

Per TexAgs radio- there's reciprocal interest between A&M and Knight.

When its all said and done it sounds like we will get a grad transfer and a freshman.

Spav wasn't allowed to be with the group that visited Hurts, despite being the one he has been in contact with for 2 years

Some of it will depend on what offense we are running, but I will say Knight and Hurts

I've never been that high on Knight but he at least has plenty of experience. You could redshirt Hurts and Knight and Hubenak battle for the starting spot. Tate and Hurts are really similar IMO (though I haven't gotten to watch either a ton) and I would rather take the local kid who might be less likely to transfer if he has to sit for a couple years. JMO. We need some fricking continuity at the position though for sure

Isn't that the only good game he played in his entire career?

He's had some other good games. But that's easily his best.

The way they're talking about Knight on TA, it sounds like he's almost a lock to transfer here.

Yep, sounds like we are going to land the following at QB this year

1) Trevor Knight
2) Jalen Hurts, Nick Starkel, or Lindsey Scott.

I hope you're being sarcastic

Trevor Knight is garbage, Hurts is sticking with Bama and the other two would unheralded true freshmen. But yea, we will have enough warm bodies to fill a depth chart.

frick next year is going to be a 2012 Auburn disaster.

In 4 starts Kyler averaged 173 passing yards, 1.3 TDs, 1.7 INTs, and 81 rushing yards.

In 2014 Knight averaged 230 passing yards, 1.4 TDs, 1.2 INTs, and 34 rushing yards.

Clearly Knight isn' as good of a runner, but matches what Kyler has shown passing and then some.

I think we are going to be pleasantly surprised with Jake. He may not ever let Knight start.

Trevor Knight is a read option QB who can complete a wobbly pass if the receiver is wide arse open.

He belongs in a Paul Johnson offense.

Oh ye of little faith Roger, take heart, we will win 10 games next year.

Be patient and ready to celebrate our new OC in January, recruits will begging our coaches to reconsider them after the news breaks.

After we curb stomp Louisville the skies will part and letters of intent will flow from the heavens

Winning 10 games next year would constitute the single biggest shock of my sports life.

Our "best" QB is a former two star JUCO nobody else wanted, our offensive will likely manage to actually get WORSE and we have proven receiver or running back depth. Our defense should be good but frick our offense could be miserable.
