Scholarship breakdown by class
The Blinn QB could very well be a player we take. 80 players on scholarship, so 5 spots left. If we get a Mack/Smith/Boyd/TJ type quartet of elite players, then the 5th spot could go to Blinn QB. That would protect us if Kyler goes MLB and also serve as 3rd string if he stays. We just wouldn't take a QB in 2016

Sure, but he's not the mystery recruit. I also think it's highly unlikely he would want to sit behind Allen and Murray. JUCOs usually want to start right away or at least have a chance to start.
