I honestly doubt that. Soso is not a follower like Lodge and Mack are.

Mack has eliminated tu per shaggy and Texas Insider. Boyd is likely going to flip.

He and Kyler are good friends and wanted to play with each other. Hence, why Kyler pushed for Soso to take an official to A&M.

Are they reporting that second thing as well, or is that just your inference?

Wednesday could wind up being a little less eventful for the Texas Longhorns than previously expected. Following a 247Sports report earlier Monday that Plano West five-star running back Soso Jamabo appears headed to UCLA, Horns247 has confirmed a report that Gladewater five-star defensive tackle Daylon Mack likely won't be headed to Austin.

Seriously, what has Mack done?

NOTHING

He was rock solid to A&M and then WE fired our DC. His friend flipped to tu and he gave them a look. His other good friend took a look at tu and is now solid again with his commitment.

At least Mack was honest and decommitted BEFORE checking other schools out. He has been upfront about the whole thing.

I said it before and I'll say it again, he's ours, start treating him that way

If Soso wanted to play with Kyler so much then why didn't Soso ever show any real interest in coming here?

Higdon is usually the most grounded of their reporters but I'm not sure how good his sources are. Never really seems to scoop anything.
Higdon is their Liucci. He's the guy most plugged into the admin side since Chip lost all his DeLoss/Mack era sources.

It actually sounds like TCU is who Mack will pick as of tonight.

Probably because we weren't very interested in him. Staff never recruited Soso very hard until the end.

It's always risky to read the tea leaves but I think Mack is trolling TCU in the same way Boyd/Hill were trolling us.

Someone else posted that Higdon was covering Louisville when Strong was there. They apparently have a very good relationship. When Strong went to tu, Higdon moved to Austin.

Merritt is picking Oregon unless he was swayed by Bussey.

Burton:

quote:

"According to a source close to the situation, Mack has told the coaching staffs of all three schools in the mix for his commitment – Texas, Texas A&M and TCU – where he plans to attend school. That school is not expected to be Texas, and according to the source, Mack is likely to pick either the Horned Frogs or Aggies."

I just think that he was never going to come here no matter what interest we showed him.
