It is encouraged.

How else are we to replenish our jar cargo?

I see your upvote and raise you....another upvote

well get a great class regardless. I just don't want to listen to sips gloat for weeks on end if they flip an Aggie legacy and greatly improve their class.

This is the only thing for me. More of a pride issue.

It would also be really saddening to lose the #1 recruit in the class of 2016. Let's not kid ourselves - Little is following Kyler wherever he ends up.

Especially as long as we're not playing t.u. annually, we are locked in a perpetual perception battle with the sips. Keeping recruits from choosing them over us is imperative in that regard.

I just don't get why they would want to play in the worst power 5 conf

For the worst offense in the conference

It makes NO SENSE

I really think this is more about A&M than it is about tu. Something happened that's pushing him away.

This. I am a very logical person. If I was in Star Trek, I would be a vulcan. I don't get picking tu at all. I can understand UO. I could understand Auburn. I could understand Bama. I could understand even BU to some extent. tu makes no the least sense. He doesn't have a strong line. He doesn't have playmakers to throw to. They have some backs, but their run game can be shut down. Joe Wickline doesn't even have his own wiki page. The only thing tu can offer is him to start day 1. If it that is the difference then so be it, but Kyler has known about Kyle Allen before he committed. Kyle eventually won the job and Kyler was still a strong commit.

I'll still wait to see how things play out, but man this is such a confusing situation

What kills me is I was watching ESPN at lunch yesterday and they talked about this for 15 minutes straight with three analysists. They were saying things that basically boil down to if they pull this off we get to act like Texas is back. ESPN and the National media are looking for a reason to put Texas on pedestal and Strong has given them nothing. This kind of media momentum will carry into the next recruiting season no matter what they put on the field next season to a point. I care less about losing him than the momentum it would cause. That is why I feel a midweek press conference is worst case, NSD flip is best case if he is gonna go.

Honestly I feel like we will be fine regardless long term. They have a lot of great coaches going against them, and we are still beating the rest of the Big 12 for recruits. What we need to do is beat more SEC teams for recuits anyway.

Popped open a bottle of wine not too long ago. Going to try to sip away the sorrows.

Yeah, that pun was intentional.

I sometimes forget sigs and profile pics even exist due to me visiting the mobile site exclusively.

I am always on my phone here, and I always prefer the desktop version. Just scroll to the bottom.

I just got a text from a guy who I trust who says he thinks it's bad. I'm fully prepared to lose everyone we are afraid of losing. Oh well. It's just sports.

I guess we should be extremely thankful that Kirk was an EE.

I just typed a paragraph trying to explain his source while keeping it anonymous, and it looked ridiculous. All I will say is that I am pretty positive that they're gone (Kyler, Daylon, and Lodge). Whenever this guy gives me his best guess, it's always right. If he has no idea (see Chavis), he doesn't say anything.

I honestly can't think of ANYTHING we could have done to push Kyler away so that he would turn his back on his long time commitment and the guys he helped us recruit.

Can you?
