OK, thanks.

Why would Hamm make a thread saying there's another OV this weekend, yet say he can't say who it is? Why even bother?

Yeah, I mean, apparently Burton thinks Kyler is flipping. Shannon Terry is only right on 2/3 of his CB picks.

The CB feature is cool, but so many of those picks are people with no inside info following other people's picks. There are a few CBs trending toward Kyler flipping.

Hamm being Hamm. I think it's Bussey. Sumlin and Joseph did an in-home with Bussey today, and Hamm said earlier in the week that they were doing an in-home with an RB and trying to get him to visit but Hamm couldn't reveal the name, and then revealed that it was Bussey.

My understanding is there's no penalty to your prediction "rating" for doing that on a committed player, so you might as well change your CB and gain rating if they do flip.

Kids these days

Hell, I'd probably do the same in their shoes. Grown-arse people pay out the arse and lose sleep over recruiting happenings. Give a teenager that much power over youn and they're gonna mess with ya

Hamm is mad, and it's definitely Bussey

quote:

Fail to see how I'm contriving any drama. I've obviously been told A&M will have another official visitor but out of respect for that family they've asked me not to say anything because they've yet to inform the school that they are committed to.

Reason No. 2 you all will no longer get any heads up on info like this. The majority has spoken that none of you adults can appreciate or understand my position on things like this. Again, easy for me. Thanks

meh, Hamm has a point. I know we've been working on a few committed guys and in some cases they want to inform their school before they'd visit and in others they are trying to hide it from them (in which case you better know we wouldn't let anyone know they were coming).

I don't know why he posted what he did -- it's mildly retarded to do so and then not say who -- but he has a point.

To clarify, this is what he posted:

quote:

Not trying to "tease" but at this moment I can't release a name but wanted to give you guys the heads up on a late addition.

He didn't say the recruit was committed elsewhere; he only said that later when everyone got on his case. I don't even care; I just think it's hilarious that he's getting upset over this.

If you post cryptic shite like that everyone is going to try and guess it and say the types of things they said to Hamm.,it's inevitable

He should have never made a post about it in the first place. It's not his first rodeo, he knew people were going to give him shite. He's such a drama queen.

lol. It's Bussey. From Looch:

Other New Orleans-area stops by Sumlin and his staff included dropping in to see Tennessee commit and tailback target Kendall Bussy (who I'm expecting to visit Aggieland this weekend)

Taylor should've never even said anything if the family wanted this under wraps. At least until the eve of his visit anyway.

What a day, though. Lots of highs, lots of WTF mixed in. This year in recruiting has mimicked a soap opera you would watch on ABC @ 11am or something compared to last year. And there's still 2 weeks to go
