I agree, but my point is that I wanted Merritt over McNeal on a standalone basis. But with Jefferson/McNeal as a package deal, give me McNeal over Merritt.

Its the other way around. Jefferson means McNeal.
Agreed. Only reason why McNeal picked Texas. He was A&M/UCLA all the way before that.

I'm not that worried about Murray. I'll be worried about Murray in June, not between now and NSD.

I'm worried about everything right now

DeBerry to OU. Let's get a flip.

My understanding is that doesn't matter. The issue is more that the Virginia Tech AD (who MIGHT get some chicken guts in the mail soon) won't even let us INTERVIEW him until after the bowl game.

[2008]Yeah, we prefer recruits who want to be Aggies[/2008]

Nothing more vulgar is legal?

So, Durkin + Mattison + no Malik --> no Hagen.

I don't want Hagen to stay regardless

You know, Google isn't really helpful on that subject. So now I am searching for symbolism.

At this point why keep any defensive coach? Let the new guy hire who he wants.

Hagen was necessary for landing Malik. That's not an issue anymore.

At this point we may reoffer Snyder

Wait wait wait. I am confused. I thought the melt today is about Malik, and probably Mack. Are we also going to melt about the DC position too?
Jeez guys, the office Christmas party is tonight and it might be a rough ride if I start drinking at 10 am. Can we hold off on the DC melt maybe? I mean, Bud Foster would make it all better.

I'm mad I woke up early for Malik/McNeal. Bussey needs to pick A&M so this day isn't a total waste.

My guess is this is why Sumlin was non-committal with Jefferson on where the process is. I'm not sure he's done swinging the axe.
The timing of the BJ thing is suspicious to me and I'm still mulling why yesterday, especially if we don't have offensive hires over the weekend.

First I've heard of that. Also first I've heard about chicken guts. Is that similar to getting a horse head in your bed?

Your best guess is still because we have someone already lined up? And, you think Hagen is gone and Sumlin didn't want to let Malik know?
Throughout the process, Sumlin has been telling Malik that Hagen will stay on. "Trust" was apparently a big part of Malik's decision and a big theme today.
