So the majoriry of the Aggie fan base was begging to offer him, we do and he's one of the very few ends we have given an offer to, and apparently he doesn't feel the love from a&m and apparently the Aggie fan base is bashing him? Jesus

Whatever the bama coaches told him he has bought into 100000000%

Because most of that student section every Saturday in the fall, unlike those of us on this board that have common sense, think that every single recruit A&M goes after should come to A&M, and thus when they don't, they are the biggest idiots in the world.

This kid sees Bama LB after Bama LB going into the NFL. He's not worried about the star power they already have there because most of these kids think they are the best and think they can prove that. More power to them.

Every fanbase has the dumb, attacking portion of it, some more than others

I just don't get why you would take message board/blog crap into consideration as a recruit. The most extreme and voluminous views are going to come from fringe fans and it's easy for people to masquerade as another school's fans for the sole purpose of shite talking recruits to give that school a bad name.

Because these are 17-18 year old kids in a social media world. If they aren't looking for it themselves, it's going to be brought to their attention one way or another

DSG followed Yates, in part, because he was sold on being the face of Boise State football, "like Johnny Football" was the face of A&M. Kids this age have a predilection for making bad decisions based on stupid stuff. My perspective is, why, as a fan, would you want to give them any ammo to make a bad decision? (or even just a decision you disfavor, cause going to Bama to play football is certainly not an inherently bad decision).

Yeah if he wants to go to Bama I don't blame him. Incredible program and tough to find any flaws with that decision.

If Lockhart thinks our fan base is negative, wait til he he gets to Tuscaloosa after he has a bad game. Seriously. He's taking his frustration towards levels that equal Charles Omenihu

We apologize. We're not used to losing to Bama so it's tough on us emotionally.

Do recruits understand that UTx fans, Baylor fans, Bama fans and LSU fans masquerade as Aggies online just to talk shite to recruits? I know they're young, but c'mon, they grew up with the internet, surely they understand its trollish tendencies. I mean hey, my uncle, who is a Nigerian prince's bastard son, needs some place to stash his ill-gotten oil money - please send me $1,000 via Western Union with which to open a bank account in your name.
