3 More outs and we have a 1 run cushion for the run rule.

I thought the same.
From Wikipedia:
"Several conferences institute this rule only on Sundays or the final day of a conference series so that the visiting team can travel on time."
and apparently it only applies in conference games (and on Sunday).

Sheesh. It's looking more and more like A&M vs. LSU.
UAB beats Ole Miss twice
Arkansas Pine Bluff beats Mizzou
Mercer beats Georgia
Georgia Tech beats Auburn
USC is in a 10th inning 8-8 with Coastal Carolina
Stetson is leading Florida by 1 in the 8th. (Nevermind. Florida pulls it out.)
Western Kentucky is embarrassing Kentucky 12-3 in the 7th.
Middle Tennessee leading Vanderbilt by 2 in the 7th.
South Alabama over Bama 3-0 in the 6th
Memphis over Arkansas by 2 in the 6th
Southern Miss over MSU by 2 in the 7th
LSU leading Tulane by 3 in the 6th.
Some of those might change, of course, but it looks like our RPI (current and future) is taking a beating.
ETA: Updated.
USC loses to Coastal Carolina.
Florida beats Stetson.
Western Kentucky 12-3 over Kentucky.
Vandy pulls it out 12-7 over Middle Tennessee.
South Alabama beats Bama 3-0.
Memphis beats Arkansas 5-4.
Southern Miss beats MSU 3-0.
... and LSU went apeshit and is now leading Tulane 13-3 in the 8th.

LSU wins 13-7 over Tulane.
So us and the 3 usual suspects (LSU, Vanderbilt, Florida) win. Mizzou gets brought back down to Earth just a bit. Conference goes 4-9 on Tuesday games against supposedly inferior competition, with UT for some reason idle as far as I can tell.
I'm thinkin'... I don't want to say what I'm thinkin'.
