That's what I was thinking when I left the house down 3-0 to take the missus out to dinner.
And then EKG performs her voodoo. Well done, ma'am!
This was not a mediocre team. They took tu to the wire and have 2 3-game sweeps. I'll take it!

I believe in Kyle Allen!
Sure, I'd love to have Touchdown Jesus playing for us, but we'll be OK at QB either way.

Alright, alright, alright. Conference play is upon us. Based on what you've seen so far and Minter being done (which based on rumors seems likely)...
What is your expectation for our record in conference play?
SEC history
----------------
2013 13-16 (34-29 overall)
2014 14-16 (36-26 overall)

I think 18-12 is a reasonable expectation. Would have put us third in the west last year. LSU is going to be really good but Arkansas, State and OM all look down this year. We have a great opening this year between the squad we have and the state of the rest of the conference to really make some noise

I think 18-12 is expecting too much. I think anything above .500 would be a plus at this point. Our hitting has cooled way off and we just lost our ace. I think something like 16-14 in conference & 6-2 in OOC. That would put us 40 wins and probably good enough to host a regional.

I would be okay with 16-14. My goal really is for us to host a regional, so whatever gets us to that. Outside of LSU most of the really strong programs in the west are down this year so I was setting my expectations a little higher. Anything below 500 would be pretty disappointing I think

I think RC will get let go with anything short of winning a regional this year. Maybe he'll get some grace because of injuries - it's pretty difficult in the college game to overcome losing your top 2 starters - but he's not well liked and that would make 4 years in a row of failing to reach a Super.
I don't think it's at all unreasonable for a program like A&M to expect a top 16 finish in any sport once in 4 years. And in baseball, it should be more often than most sports.

We have every resource available to be a top 10 baseball program at this point. Great facilities, access to a shitload of talent, very supportive fanbase. My goal for the regular season is to get a host spot, and if we accomplish that we better not shite the bed in the regional

Bad news for AJ Minter. Appears he's going to need Tommy John surgery

Any chance Stub is back for a postseason push?

I remember someone say he might be a while back, maybe right after his surgery, but haven't heard anything in weeks. Would be a nice surprise for sure
