I keep hearing from the Texas side that RSJ battle is between LSU and A&M. If Griffin doesn't qualify that puts yall in a great position.

Of course we're happy to have Griffin's commitment, and of course I want him to sign and qualify, but he's simply got an awful lot of work to do.

I don't think a lot of LSU fans realize this. I lurked a thread on their recruiting board not long ago where the poster consensus was that A&M was pretty much eliminated. Unless something changes it definitely seems like he is between Texas and A&M and I still think he ends up in Austin.

Actually most LSU fans from what I have seen still believe that Texas is the likely destination at this point.

I think we both think that, at least the normal fans. But I saw a lot of LSU fans thinking that A&M was completely out of the equation. I know it's a message board and all the idiots come out though.

I'm not trying to be critical, I just didn't understand the line of thought from the many fans who posted it on the other recruiting board. Every fanbase is guilty of it.

Picking up RSJ would be huge, just the perception of landing the top kid in the state over texas.

Hoza Scott is one that we absolutely have to lock down at LB in 2014. Kid is a freakin monster and apparently has had us in the top spot for awhile.

Absolutely have to land Hoza.
A guy we were on for a while but I haven't heard anything in a while is Abbington, I want to land him at safety.

Hoza Scott said that he wants the SEC.... "I want to play where the best guys are."
That really limits him to A&M and LSU. I think LSU is about 12 deep at LB. I like our chances.
