Arrived in Knoxville yesterday We went to Chesapeake's Downtown for Dinner & Drinks. General Mgr. Stopped at our table a few times and welcomed us Had a great time talking SEC Football. Can anyone suggest a good place to hang out from 1:00 pm to game time

We in our late 40's but we can hang Is Calhunes on the river a place for 4 LSU couples on game day

Calhones would work because of proximity. If it's too packed, you could walk to market square and take your pick in that area.

I used be a server/bartender at Chesapeake's back in the day.

Had to run 5 miles a day just to keep from putting on 50lbs from the Crab Bisque

Definitely recommend heading to the Market Square and Gay St. Areas of downtown.

Tons of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, theaters, etc. I wish the weather was better for you guys today so that you could really get a taste of the area when everyone's out and about. It doesn't look like that's in the cards though. Either way, have a great time.

Calhouns would be good just if you can get a seat. Market Square/Gay St may be up your alley as well. Maple Hall has a pretty cool bar area in the back/upstairs, suttrees (great ramen), Merchants of beer (beer and cocktail selection with food), Barleys (pizza and beer), etc. You cant really go wrong.
