I'm a fan of the T. A fan of the institution. There is no person who represents that. It's a conglomerate of innumerous people from the past 223 years.
You can be a fan of the institution and everything it stands for without holding the jocks of the 5 or so people that hold the power for the time being.
But it's "fans" like you, that do support the people in charge, just because they're in charge, that have been the downfall of a great program. They know they can take advantage of you dullards and bring bargain bin hires and have you bought in from day one.

We are not bama, we are not osu, we are not playing for national titles year in and year out. if you are hanging on to a program from 20+ years ago you are setting yourself up for misery. some of you frick tards act like we reguarded as a powerhouse... we just lost to vandy for the 4th time in 6 years. No one, absolutely NO ONE outside of some of our idiot fan base looks at our football program as a powerhouse. The landscape has changed, this is not your grandpas Tennessee team. Can we improve? again, to be clear. I 1000000% woule love gruden or peterson. I am just not getting my hopes up for it. If that happens id be going wild, but until then i refuse to pump it in public just to be made look dumb if we hires a schiano. We have done this dance twice already in coaching searches.
also my original post, i was not saying those were the coaches i wanted, just some i figured with the timing if coach was announces today. Although i would be fine with campbell or mullen. Either would be better than our previous 2 hires.

If we hire someone other than Gruden/Peterson, then I will be disappointed.
If we hire one of the 3 names in this thread then I’ll be questioning my VOLS love.
