It's a long, but objective and fair read for this coming season and some of the issues from last season. Definitely worth a read if you've got the time.

SBNation

Projected odds to win each game from the article from least likely to most likely:

@UA - 7%
LSU - 29%
@UF - 30%
UGA - 51%
GT - 56% (Neutral)
@UK - 57%
@MU - 61%
USC - 66%
VU - 74%
USM - 87%
MASS- 93%
ISU - 98%

I guess I'm missing something on why the percentage is so low for the Florida game

Couldn't have said it better myself

I agree with you on both points. For the life of me I dont get the preseason love for Florida. I'm sure they'll be a decent squad, but with as many questions as they have on both sides of the ball, I'll be very surprised if they are an elite team in 2017.

Maybe they figure us as being snake bit against Florida.

That's the exact kind of thing that the percentage deal is supposed to almost completely ignore I believe but could be wrong

I think both Florida and LSU are 50-50 games. I'm not skeered of either team. Although I think they'll be tough games, they're winnable. The only game that's not winnable is UA.

And LMAO at the UK prediction.

Connelly is really good and his system is as good as I've come across to really analyze teams in the same way advanced baseball analytics do.

His predictions aren't 100%, but they are as good or better than anyone elses. However, his stats are fantastic for looking at specific matchups (3rd and long offense for Team A vs 3rd and long defense for Team B).

Those previews have been really well done, too.

I really just don't see what everyone sees in Florida. Their fans and fans of other teams think they are going to be great. Some national analysts even have them as a dark horse playoff team.

I'm also taking Tennessee over Florida in the swamp.

They lose 9 out of 11 starters on defense, have had one of the worst offenses in CFB since Jim Bob took over, and are looking at starting a QB with zero or very limited game experience. They are full of question marks all over the field. Possibly losing their best offensive play maker in Callaway to a indefinite suspension to boot.

Callaway should be gone permanently. If anyone not wearing a jersey did what he did, they would be in jail. And not to mention his prior incidents.

Most recently credit card fraud. This is after admitting drug use and having sexual assault accusations levied against him. Among various other discrepancies.

Wouldn't credit card fraud be a damn felony?
