When is Elko gonna bench Reed?

Don't know what happened to him, but he is awful this year. Do they have a viable QB option after Reed?

He either has an ironclad clause in his contract keeping him as QB1, or he has pictures of Elko in compromising positions with farm animals.

He has already said he will never bench him. I think it is a combination of A) Elko doesn't want to admit his is wrong on his talent evaluations, B) all the money they have tied up in Reed, and most importantly C) the backup QBs are complete arse too.
If he benches Reed and then the backups are just as bad or worse, then Elko will be totally exposed as a fraud.
In his mind it is better to just keep sending Reed out there and then go for a new QB in the offseason.

He was never good. Last half of last year and the playoff game especially did him in and he hasn't recovered since.

The fans' favorite player is the unplayed backup QB on a bad team...
I guess people haven't looked at the A&M depth chart? For some reason, Elko and A&M didn't grab a clipboard-holder placeholder backup this offseason, and so their backup has a career stat line of 9-19 for 98 yards with 1 TD/1INT
