Went from pressuring the qb to playing prevent, and calling 2 yard pass plays. That is how you textbook choke a game away, couldnt have done it better myself

Klein sucked. Elko schooled by Sark in second half. Reed was not 100% after the injury. Got whooped

Your QB seemed to struggle throwing it beyond 2 yards those last 2 drives.

That was the most unaggressive play calling I’ve seen all year… on both sides of the ball

Just terrible

He always has.

All those impressive stats for passing yardage are YAC for Craver and Concepcion.

Y’all didn’t choke; your soft scheduling luck finally ran out.

They are still in the playoffs and will make the field. Season is over in a couple of weeks

No idea what happened at halftime. Texas fans have been criticizing Sark all year for failure to make any halftime adjustments. But it was clear they decided to focus on the run game and take some pressure off Arch, and it worked.

I think what surprised me most was A&M’s failure to make Concepcion more of a factor. Going in he was my biggest concern, but Texas was able to limit him and explosive plays in general.

It also surprised me that A&M didn’t just pound it more. We were missing our leading tackler and All-American linebacker (Hill) and also our #2 LB during the first half. I just thought we were going to get pounded, and then A&M would explode against a tired defense in the 4th.

Anyway I’m really not sure what A&M’s strategy was. I do think it’s fair to ask whether A&M had really been tested this year. Not blaming A&M for their schedule (all you can do is play who’s in front of you, and scheduling and beating ND in South Bend is very respectable). But maybe if they’d had to play another couple of top 10 teams they wouldn’t have come in undefeated.

I still think A&M will regroup and win their first round game at Kyle. From there who knows. There’s really no team this year that looks invincible so everything is still on the table for whoever makes it in.

Good game, Ags.

Good take. I’m still very happy with Elko overall, but A&M was out coached yesterday. Very timid and conservative play calling, when we have been pretty aggressive all year. The very act of trying not to give up big plays ended up giving up big plays.

A&M is okay. They are very streaky. I think they could pull off a run in the playoffs or lose first round. Just depend on which team shows up.

Solid and fair take. We could make a deep run if we play well or we could get bounced game 1. Don’t know which team will show up

Will depend on if the A&M team stays away from rat poison or not. And Marcel’s injury
