DKR fans aren’t known for being rabid but when good teams roll in they respond. Been there when WVU was ranked in top 5, K-state in top 10, Notre Dame, Ohio St, and probably the loudest was in ‘90 when Texas beat UH and David Klingler. And that was way before the stadium upgrades.

I’m far from a homer, but no. If we played you guys 10 times this year I genuinely believe we win 5 of them. You won last night. Enjoy it. Your team played well and your crowd seemed to be more interested in this game than any you’ve played in decades. But I would happily put our squad against any other team in Texas, their house or ours and feel absolutely confident. Tech might surprise us. The rest may have looked good at points, but would get worn down eventually. Maybe we will find out. Maybe we won’t. Not going to come out and say we are the “x” best team in the state because that’s stupid. But if our schedule contained only the top remaining collegiate teams in the state, we would still be accused of having a cupcake schedule, including the likes of the longhorns.

A&M would be 8-4 if they played even an average SEC schedule. They played one team in the top half.
