Conventional wisdom has always held that a tough, through the heart of SEC schedule, along with ranked OOC opponents prepares a team for the championship run.
Has B1G and ACC proven that the extra Saturday lite practice day prepared them better? They are rested, second and third deep players more experienced, less injuries.

From a spectator's standpoint, I don't like it, but from a coaching standpoint, UGA's schedule lined up perfectly:
-FCS for the opening game
-G6 for the second game
- (respectfully) lower-tiered SEC for the first road game
- all the kinks should be worked out for the first big test

The ACC is a terrible terrible conference. Their only good coach is Cristobal. And you have to wonder how much of that is propped up by Miami booster money.
