Crushed them twice just last year. Good people and a good team but I like our chances. And no 3 loss team BS. 2 probably depending on the record and scores. keep it real.

OMG. A shitty Arkansas team that can’t open an umbrella talking shite. Now we are in SEC delusional world. The SEC meltdown about how overrated the teams are is coming home to roost.

We’d beat your high school 7 on 7 Nancy boys like we have historically.

No SEC team has reached the national title game in any of the last three years

Don't be ridiculous, man. Texas Tech would beat Arkansas' arse very badly. Have you watched them play? They looked great today.

The SEC hasn't placed a team in the final for the past 3 years.

Go home little boy and live in the past. And remember a shitty team out of Texas just destroyed you just a week or two ago. Your glory days are long past you.

ESPN has the ACC TV rights and shares the Big 12. I think they'll be fine.

ESPN doesn’t give a shite. They own the playoff broadcasting rights through 2032. ESPN pushed the playoff expansion to 24 teams, which most fans are complaining about.
ESPN only cares about $$$. The SEC is the means to an end.

Back in the early 2000's the Big Ten was better than the SEC
The perceived powers then were Oklahoma, Miami, Fla State, USC out west.
quote:Saban was at LSU by 2000.
The SEC then became the dominant league when Saban left the Big Ten and went to LSU (a rising tide and all that).
The reason for the SEC's ascendence wasn't simply Saban, it was the competition. The East had Florida and Tennessee battling for superiority, then Georgia stepped into the mix.
The West had Auburn and Arkansas, and then LSU jumping in.
The SEC was a fricking warzone, and whoever came out, be it LSU, Florida etc (not UGA for whatever reason), found that the bowl game against a top team wasn't as tough as what they had dealt with all season and in Atlanta.
And honestly, for all the hate, Les Miles played a huge part in establishing the SEC as THE conference. His first three bowls-
vs Miami, better watch out, it's the U... LSU wins 40-3, and then beats their fricking asses in the postgame fight.
vs Notre Dame, Brady Quinn is a superstar, LSU stomps 41-14.
vs Ohio State, the Buckeyes get beat down a second straight year by a SEC team for the natty.

frick off, loser. I'm not a nega-hog at all. But you're talking foolishness if you're going to pretend that an Arkansas team that just won it's first conference game in two frickin' years would stand a chance against Texas Tech right now. A team that just beat Arizona State like a rented mule. They're a top 10 team for a reason. Arkansas just beat Vanderbilt.
As I said, don't be ridiculous.

Did we win a playoff game over a p4 non-SEC school in the playoffs last year?
A&M lost to Miami
Oklahoma lost to Bama who lost to Indiana
Georgia lost to Ole Miss who lost to Miami
Sure, Ole Miss downed the powerhouse in Tulane. Hang the banners. But maybe we should pump the breaks a little in the mean time.

Still handily the best conference. Don’t act like a conference with 2-3 good teams who stay healthy majority of the season is dominant over the SEC.

And it didn't take until 2003 for him to go 13-1. The season before he lost 5 games. As I said, "the early 2000's." I don't know why you would want to disagree only to say the same shite.

Dude, fake bravado doesn't change the fact that we're arse this year. Eventually we won't be arse and then I guarantee you that we'll talk shite like it's 2011.
Until then, there's zero point in being arse and retarded at the same time.

The Texas Tech playoff games are a sight to behold. Opponents should have to pay Texas Tech for the appearance as rent a win.

All fun and games until you have to meet the SEC in the playoffs
Like when Notre Dame beat Georgia? Or when Miami went in to Kyle Field and shut down aTm? Or when Alabama got housed in Pasadena? Or when Tennessee couldn’t play in cold weather against Ohio State?
The SEC hasn’t played in a title game the last 3 years. The mystique is gone.
