And yet even if they lose to Miami they still make the playoff.

As a LSU Tiger fan I've followed college football since 1957(7YO) The only poll of rankings was the AP.No team was more over rated than Notre Dame.In the mid 60s HC Ara P. went for the tie against Michigan because he knew the AP writers would still vote N.D. Number 1
That bias to a great degree still remains...BYU is the first really good team N.D. has played and they Lose !

The ND receiver should have either used both hands to push the DB off of him or grab him by the shoulder pads and throw him to the ground before catching the ball. It worked in the first half I don’t know why they went away from that brilliantly coached tactic…….and Notre Dame bitching about not getting a call is as glorious as Alabama doing it.

quote:honestly this is what it’s all about. We’ve seen the screw jobs all across the country. Cfb is a ruined product like NFL come next year.
Awesome game, but the 24-team playoff already is a bummer even though 24-team playoff isn't even here yet. I was sitting there thinking "if this was next year, a loss like that wouldn't matter for either team, and they could both go 9 and 3 and still make the playoffs."
With all the money involved and gambling now and 24 teams in the playoff, teams getting screwed does absolutely nothing to harm them so the screw jobs by the refs will keep on coming. People don’t care about refs deciding games and they’ll make the playoff anyway but ND got absolutely screwed because of all the money put on them yesterday. Theres a million examples this season of calls deciding games, more than usual. Imagine if this was back when these single losses decided your entire season.
