Considering their very first title ever happened during a postseason ban, that just makes it an Auburn tradition.

Always amused me when Auburn fans would scream, "You lost your bowl game!" without a single bit of irony, considering they were BANNED from a bowl game and gleefully claimed that one title for 50 years as their only one (even including the year in the number you dialed to order tickets).
