I couldn't believe it after I saw where the punt landed OOB and then saw the ref running way up the sideline. That's beyond incompetence.

In keeping with recent games, our D wakes up from being dead and our offense immediately collapses.
Our punter got hosed there. He had Texas players all over when he got that punt out and then he gets that spot. Ouch.

only thing I can think of on the punt is...Texas player touched the ball at the punt, thus nullifying any kick penalty.
From the landing just OB at the Texas 40, camera did not show entire punt flight. All I can think is ball bounced previously down field and more out of bounds. We saw on camera a second landing. Player getting a hand on the punt may have forced out of bounds earlier than what we saw on camera.

Absolute horseshite. The refs have f**ked over Arkansas unbelievably. bullshite PI calls, overturning calls made on the field, ignoring holds by that POS Texas OLine, roughing the kicker, gifting Texas at least 25 yards on the punt. And the dipshit announcers go radio silent, and ABC refuses to replay anything against Texas.

The camera work on the punt was pretty shoddy and I'm not going to rule out the possibility that it landed out of bounds about 5 yards earlier than it looked like it did.
But giving Texas like 25 yards? That was absurd.

Yeah, I'm guessing it bounced upfield earlier OOB? But then it bounced up in the air 25 yards farther downfield? Seems unlikely.

i went back to the punt and definitely heard two clicks at the punt. one the punters foot hitting ball and a second click just after the first. Texas player did get a hand on the ball.
