I would put my money on Oklahoma, but I haven't followed his recruitment as closely as Arkansas fans. They seem pretty confident that they will land him on NSD.

I'd definitely put money on Arkansas, and I actually think Texas has passed OU

No one seems to think Texas is actually in this, although all the paysites are starting to think otherwise. While it may not be a coin flip as I read some analysts say, Texas is very much up there with Arkansas and OU is pretty much out of it now with all of the disarray up in Norman. Plus, DGB has bailed on two OVs to them now. From what I've read, the biggest thing going in our favor is that his parents have given him permission to go to Texas if he really wants to, without having to worry about his family. I honestly have no idea which way this will go now, but I feel cautiously optimistic that he ends up in Austin.

Wondering the same thing.

Seems like the problems are at Texas instead of OU to me

The other day someone on the SEC Rant said their S&C coach "came out" and it's rubbing people the wrong way so to speak.

Texas is the #1 public University in the nation... I almost went there, that degree carries alot of cache in a really big state.

LSU doesn't exactly "sling" it and with that backfield they don't need too.

Well lets see,

We will have Mett, then Randle or Rivers and maybe Keil or Alford.

I believe that we will start throwing the ball very well in the next few years.

Plus the fact that we have been to the BCS Champioship game 3 times in the last ten years and Arkansas has been to none.

But at Arkansas he will learn how to be an Nfl receiver, won't get that at Lsu. Believe it or not, some people care about making money and supporting their family. Going to a Bcs game with Lsu accomplishes neither.

Yeah it's not like Randle was the best WR in the sec this year on a running team.

There is a reason he is thinking of leaving early and it's not that he won't be used much in our offense.

We had 4 receivers that would have been primaries for 85% of college football teams.(Maybe 3 since Childs still isn't 100%)

We have 4 CB's that shut down those 4 wr's that would have been primaries for 85% of college football. Apparently your offense is just a system offense and when you face a gear defense your system wr's are neutralized.

LSU has an outstanding secondary and have shut down every offense they have played, but you should acknowledge that the defensive line has put pressure on every QB and assisted the secondary play.

Your repetitive shtick about it being a system is misleading. Arkansas uses a pro-style offense not a spread/HUNH gimmicky offense like you are alluding too.

Texas is an elite university in a great city. Yeah, it would be attractive to any future college student and his/her parents.

Sorry dude, but it is a system. It's the system that got CHRIS REDMAN drafted in the 2nd round. That doesn't mean that your WR unit isn't very talented, it just means that Bobby Petrino is the reason they are successful. Oklahoma runs a multiple offense just like Arkansas, and they have system QBs put up big numbers all the time (White, Huepel, Bradford, Jones). It doesn't have to be a spread offense from shotgun all the time to be considered a system.

You're right. He wasn't.

DGB will be making a pretty bad mistake if he goes to UT. That offense is pathetic and has been for awhile now. QB play/ingenuity is abysmal. Not a good combination for a WR wanting to show his stuff for the NFL. DGB realizes that. He's not going to UT.
