I didn't say won't. I said may not.

If Lawson's commitment is in doubt while he's publicly recruiting for Auburn and has said immediately following a Tennessee visit that it would take something drastic for him not to go to Auburn, then I think it's safe for us to be doubting the strength of Foster's

Buchanan? He's not even the most highly rated commit we have RIGHT NOW. You're dense, and your user name is a fricking disaster.

Easy there, Brenda. I think a lot of Buchanan and I believe his stock will only rise this year. Kid has his priorities in line. He is opting out of the Elite 11 to take a mission trip. He's already a 4* on intangibles.

Link?

I'm pretty sure he didn't make the cut/wasn't invited.

Nope. It's either a Stone Cold Steve Austin reference (lame if not intentionally ironic) or a testament to your undying support for a guy who won't be coaching at your school in a couple of years.

Do you think Dan Mullen is going to retire at Mississippi State?

Which I'm completely fine with, by the way. The guy doesn't have to be named an Elite 11 guy for me to get excited about him.

The whole "oh he's going on a mission trip" story sounds like something somebody made up to placate their anguish over Buchanan not making the cut. I'm sure that, after being cut, he decided to go on a mission trip, but it probably wasn't the other way around.

No, but I know his wife is VERY happy in Starkville, their 2 children were born in Starkville and Dan is probably the most popular coach we have had in any sport since 1980's Ron Polk.

Lol @ this glorious thread, I'd like to point out a few things:

Bama is in great shape for Tony Conner, as is Miss St, Bama leads and he is a very good student as is Mix, like Al pointed out I believe

A LOT is happening behind the scenes with Tunsil, if he waits longer it favors Bama over UGA, and possibly UF, if he commits soon it will be UGA, but Bama is going all in right now and making him a priority

Same for Lawson and UT, CR is his personal trainer now and he is a big time UT booster, also has ties at HS to Bama, this one is far from over, and yes FTR Volnation is terrible, but when it is mentioned as a possibility for Bama to get involved because of CR talking up a 34 OLB position by BOL staff, they are THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS PERIOD so listen and take heed, I'd say right now it might be 50% he signs with AU and 50% with UT, if Bama decides to pursue (haven't yet) it would likely put each team even at 33%

I have voiced my opinion over the last week on Reuben, he is playing the game and it is so blatantly obvious, why do you think you only hear "he was all about AU" from AU COMMITED recruits. Also for an AU fan to keep up with this "He picked AuHS and why not Oxford?, must mean something right?" that is extremely naive and you do not understand the events that led to him ending up at AuHS

Finally can we PLEASE lay off all this fighting on RF

Oh I also forgot to add, when Bama adds Henry I'm not sure how Tenpenny might react, then add to that the fact that with Knile Davis JLS is gonna pound the rock and run it, so we will see about Tenpenny he is solid, but the 1 I already know is solid regardless of what happens is Tyren Jones, haven't heard much from Tenpenny, and with him visiting and it being farther away he seems more likely to flip JMHO

What do you mean by this? CR played for a different coaching staff, is a German kid who came to the US for 1 year of HS football in Florida and then went to UT. I'm not saying he isn't supportive of his Alma mater, but I am wondering what you mean by him being a big time booster.

He now trains in the Ga area and is a donator to the University of Tennessee

It just seems one guy (with a bias) posts on the internet that they are training together in Atlanta and then makes the leap that he will flip to UT. Is there anything more to it than that? Is it even confirmed that they train together? Seems like message board speculation and wishful thinking, but maybe not.

Miss St still has a great chance as well having a few things over Bama:

1. A teammate with Mix
2. IMMEDIATE PT not at all at Bama we are about 4 deep
3. It is in-state school

He started training him about 2 weeks ago as a personal trainer, like I said BOL mentioned it as well and those guys have numerous sources, it is just something to keep an eye on, for now he is still an AU commit and the situation should be treated as such

He has a small start-up company he started to to personal physical training I believe it's linked through his FB, I guess major was a bad word to use since he is fairly new in business, but what I meant more is that he has a major influence on him and is a UT grad and fball player

Seems like speculation and wishful thinking given the short tenure of the alleged relationship, but could be true.

Not wishful thinking honestly, would like him at Bama but not at Tenn, and I think he still has a great relationship with AU, like I said just something to watch but he is a beast
