This is true and we probably have as many sources close to him as LSU does.

He's been committed to LSU it's just on the down low. Since you guys put so much stock into Twitter what do you say about his tweet saying he already knows where he is going just waiting to be 150% sure? At this time it was clear even to arky that LSU was the favorite and that was a few weeks ago.

Seriously, I'm a skeptic when it comes to recruiting until our newspapers say the player has committed, and even then I'm not comfortable until they sign. In other words, I don't place much value in anything I hear, whether it's positive or negative for us. So any rumors of Devin being secretly committed to LSU were just rumors to me, just as any opinions saying we lead are just opinions. When he said he wanted to be 150% sure, I never assumed I knew which school he was talking about and any who did were likely just guessing.

His cousin goes to Arkansas and I'm sure you'll agree that he's a pretty good source. Just like you guys, we also have fans who know him, and his family, personally. One of them has been saying Arkansas leads for about a year now and hasn't wavered on that.

I dont think anyone is a "silent commit" I think when they are signed and in team colors thats when the recruiting stops. These guys are getting calls every day trying to persuade them to go to go play ball. At anytime the right thing can be said and the right situation can happen and a new leader emerges. All part of the game.
