Kipp Adams shot down the idea of taking a full class. He said 24 is the MAX but could see 23 being the magic number. Without attrition, the 2020 class will likely be even smaller. UGA has a very young roster, 70% FR and SO. Expect to see guys encouraged to look for playing time elsewhere. Gibbs is more than likely already gone. I expect a few more DB’s to leave. Kirby will cut the fat on the roster so he can continue to recruit the best.

No offence intended, but Kipp is wrong on this one. That's not really info that is in Kipp's wheelhouse, just like he was wrong on last years' size.

But every insider that isn't a reporter has consistently said our class will be 25 + Walthour who is already counted in last year's class -- so 26. LG1 even said that, and he's about as inside as it gets other than Bulldog Bob or Americus.

I don’t get this. Why hasn’t rusty or any of your UGA boys or anyone else put in a CB for Sanders to UGA?

Must have missed Smallwood predicting UGA for Sanders? He's 42 out of 42 on his predictions over the last 2 years; just released his prediction 2 days ago.

Rusty Mansell said the same thing as Kipp FWIW.

I think we will see LSU, Alabama and Georgia all finish strongly.

I see A&M finishing with:

Marcus Banks (4* CB)
David Ugwoegbu (3* OLB/WDE)
Ke'Shun Brown (3* ILB) or Christopher Russell (3* ILB)
Derrick Hunter (4* SDE)
Ainias Smith (3* Athlete)
A Juco CB (Maybe flipping Elijah Blades?)

Sanders
Haselwood
Dean
Stevenson

We're so hung up on star ratings that we're really not focusing on what the Dawgs need. This class has already sured up the pass rushing deficiency. The next gap is WR, and Haselwood along with Blaylock make that immediate impact to turn UGA into a truly complete team.

FWIW nobody thought we could fit Tommy Bush into last years class on NSD and we made it work.

Kirby will sign what he thinks we need and what we can get and sort out the numbers later. I’d heard 26 as our number a couple of weeks ago and given who we are after I’d say we are going to aim for that number. 24 may be the reality if we don’t land every single target but we’re going to aim for 26

1. Ugwoegbu
2. Banks or another CB
3. Ainias Smith
4. An OOS LB to be named in Jan

OU has 7-9 spots left and they will get a Criddell cb, Battle cb if Bama doesn’t give a ship to him, Haselwood will commit after national signing day. Will fill it out with Juco rb Ramon Stevenson or LSU commit Davis. At DT look for stripling to commit and possibly marcel Brooks. Solid close in the top 4

I’d be perfectly okay with this finish. Hate to lose Dean, and to a lesser extent Sanders, but I wouldn’t complain one bit.

I knew Alabama's funding was increasing substantially with all the FB success, but did they upgrade from Chargers to yachts now?

And enjoy your JUCO back I guess.

I'll go out on a limb

1) NG Siaki Ika
2) CB Raydarius Jones
3) ATH Devonta Lee
4) DT Ishmeal Sopsher
5) DE Rodney Sopsher
6) CB Jay Ward/Christian
Williams/ George Pickens/
a mystery commit/ transfer

I think the Sopsher boys go to LSU only bc Saban wont put Rodney on scholarship and Orgeron will ... which is a mistake in my book, but I think O is willing to do it for perception on keeping kids in state.
