It's not about King/Calzada. It's about Weigman. And IMO leaving your HS team in the lurch 3 weeks before the season and then not sniffing the field and transferring directly after the season is a HUGE red flag for me. I'd rather we take our chances with King/Weigman/Holstein

I doubt Ewers comes to A&M. But our 2020 QB recruit is now a TE. 4 scholarship QB's is not too many. And we do NOT have anyone proven at all. If we had an opportunity to get Weigman and Ewers, we'd be nuts to not do it. But getting both seems super unlikely.

Ewers was one of the highest rated, if not the highest rated, qb recruits ever. Jimbo would be absolutely retarded to not bring him in because of a couple future recruits.

I wasn't impressed when I watched him at the Elite QB challenge or whatever its called. From decommiting, and going into the transfer portal this early, I hope he goes out west. I think he flames away into nothing

I don’t want Ewers coming in and messing up team chemistry. I don’t give a crap about physical skill set - there is more to a QB. Fisher’s problem, and I’m sure he is aware of pros and cons

Lol the same team chemistry that got you 8 wins? Jimbo’s job is to build talent and manage it. If he can’t manage the qb room then the sumlin comparisons become more accurate.

Sark would be best suited to just securing Ewers and forgetting about Arch IMO.

Just visited Texas Tech the same day they hired WKU OC Zach Kittley. Kittley runs a very QB friendly offense. Lit up CUSA with Zappe at QB

Yeah . . . . the Tech angle seems far-fetched on it face but all local chatter says he is showing real interest.
I am not sure why their is hesitancy on Sark and the Horns. You would think this would be a no-brainer but the Ewers family is obviously looking forward to an NFL career and trying to optimize all those angles.

If Sarkisian guarantees Ewers will start, when he's already trying to balance Card and Thompson, he could fracture the locker room more than it already is.

That locker room is already a disaster, can't really make it worse with Ewers.
That said I am going to laugh when he goes to Tech. Pretty clear Jimbo is not interested.

Actually, yes you can. If Ewers NIL deal includes specific skill players and excludes others in Ewers stats...
