Better yet. How many programs have a need at QB where he steps in right away as the starter/favorite?

Texas?

Mizzou?

Auburn? (because Nix stinks)

Sure a lot of teams might have players who next year would be a lot less talented than Quinn even results wise come the start of 2023 but their current starter for sure is better given Ewers has played literally very little.

It’s a Texas, A&M battle imo.

I've heard nothing on A&M pursuing him but we're getting everybody this class so who knows, maybe he wants to jump on and another million.

So . . .we are wandering the desert regarding QBs right now. That being said, how do you sort 4* Haynes King, 5* Connor Weigman, and 5* Quinn Ewers?

Seems like a better fit with Sark in Austin.

Texas Tech is apparently making a push. I'd expect somewhere he's QB1 from day 1. Texas, Alabama etc wouldn't fit that

You don’t think he would start at Texas? He’s head and shoulders better than the two guys they have.

Texas has a similar QB situation, with Card and Thompson, as A&M (minus incoming Weigman). Not sure how as an Aggie you can say “not interested” after the shite show at QB last season and expect Jimbo to hang it all on King or Weigman. The qb position literally cost them multiple games last season.

Maybe I talk with too many Horns, but the baseline in Austin is that Card is most definitely not the guy and Casey Thompson can't lead the offense. They are talking about a total rebuild at that position.

And How can Ags says that King/ Calzada is the answer? We’ve seen 1 game of King and he threw 3 picks and we know what Calzada is.

He was supposed to be better than CJ Stroud. We see how that worked out at OSU right?

He should have been a high school senior this year and joined the team sometime in August. I would hope the elite QB recruit that had been with the program for a full year and off-season had a leg up on him.

I doubt A&M is interested. Already have Weigman coming. He grew up a Texas fan, but that fan base turned on him in a severely nasty manner when he left for Ohio State. Not sure he’d want to subject himself to those morons again. Tech may be in play since they will take a stab at Harrell and possibly his old coach Dodge

Still, he just looks like a sip or Okie to me

Fisher isn't. Not a surprise. Conner has had an exceptional senior year while Ewers just sat on the bench

I don’t know where he ends up orwhat schools are interested but come on, that is a disingenuous comparison.

Ewers has spent a year under the tutelage of one of the best QB coaches in the entire country while practicing against, and preparing with, one of the top college programs in the country.

To say Weigman now has a leg up on him because he played another year in high school falls flat, IMO.

Not sure why we wouldn’t be. Take him and Weigman if you can and the odds of ending up with an elite QB are much higher. One would obviously transfer but that shouldn’t prevent you from taking both if you can
