I expect decommits, it isn't like this staff has much to offer. If I were a defensive recruit, I'd stick with it as long as BVG was around. Other than that, I got nothing.

I mean i really dont keep up with yall but what has he done to make you say that?

I personally don't think recruits look too much into records, unless they are just completely fricking awful like ours. Throw in the fact that Chizik is on the hotseat and some coaches won't be back, and you have some popular decommits. If we could've just managed a 7-6 or 8-5 record, I would've expected us to keep everyone and have the upper hand at Derrick Green and Monty Adams. Not anymore.

Carl Lawson on AU. "I mean, it's embarrassing. But at the same time, just got to show support," Lawson said. "I mean, it doesn't affect the way I felt (about Auburn) before. But it's embarrassing to represent a team and watch them lose, especially in a conference like the SEC. It's disappointing." Crazy he is visiting Tenn next. Dooley might not be coaching there too long.

Not by him.

This was his quote from yesterday in the AJC.

“It was kind of like how Georgia did with Jordan Jenkins last year, because I followed that. They didn’t really recruit him hard all along … But there are no hard feelings toward Georgia. They’re going to have a great recruiting class at Georgia, and we’ll do well at Auburn.”

He's visiting OM next, as in two days

There are just way too many negative recruiting bullets in everyones chamber right now against auburn. These kids are hearing it from everyone else thats recruiting them and it has to take a toll, plus they can see for themselves the product on the field..not a flame but why would anyone stick with auburn right now? Is playing immediately more important than developing and more importantly, winning?

Obviously RF will stick, and this brings a smile to my faec in a way I never would have thought possible..but surely the other high profile guys are looking around, which is disastrous for a top heavy class.

For a lot of these kids, yes. They are convinced that they will be able to come in and single handedly help the program get back on track.

Alabama is actively recruiting him. It wouldn't surprise me if he ends up at Alabama, with the way AU is sinking. Foster would be served to look around too. What has AU proved with regards to development and structure? I doubt he ends up at Alabama, but he's too damn good to get wasted down there.

Now, where are all the goons that claimed Alabama wasn't recruiting that "thug?"

The staff always been recruiting Liner. Anyone who said otherwise just wanted to bash him for his "trouble" with the law because he's committed to Auburn.

And yes, there were plenty of Alabama fans doing this, though some may not admit it.

Carl Lawson is visiting UT for the TSIO. I'd say there is a decent chance he ends up elsewhere.

I've also heard that AU is now 3rd in the DGreen sweepstakes. Any truth to that, Auburn fans?

I commend you for being honest. I wouldn't be surprised to see him flip to Alabama.

Of course people wanted to bash him for getting arrested. That's fans being fans. Both sides are guilty of it.

It would be kind of awkward going somewhere else with that nasty AU tattoo on his arm.

Someone told me that Lawson mentioned on his twitter page that he's not taking any visits this weekend so I guess he's not coming to Oxford Saturday. That 11am kickoff has really hurt us with our OOS recruits.
