Dee Liner. Foster will be a beast. Saban will straighten his shite out.

Nkemdiche is the obvious answer. Sure he'll probably be the #1 overall pick in 3 years, but he'll have a 1-1 bowl record with a ring from Birmingham, and a loss from the Peach bowl.

Rolando was a head case too. But Foster just seems too immature to me

Reuben and it ain't close.

Unless he chose Auburn, of course, then he'd be the break-out player of the decade.

Yeah, he'll be a super bust in JUCO.

I personally don't think Liner will ever see the two deep at Bama.

I think Foster will be a stud and will be gone in three years to the NFL.

I'm thinking the QB (Johnson) from Auburn.

Any reason as to why?

It certainly wouldn't be the first time we've wiffed on a qb, but this guy seems to be more developed already than fraizer and because of fraizer i think our expectation to bust ratio has shrunk.

All the physical talent in the world but not a lot going on upstairs. A real flake.

If there's anyone who can make him a football player though, it's Saban. So if there's any risk involved in him, he's at the best school to minimize that risk.

Hard to say because you don't know what these guys are into. Reuben Foster's high school videos are the best I've seen since Tray Blackmon, though, and maybe better.

Some of these kids will bust. For all schools. Some won't like the competition, some won't quit the weed or won't make the grades or won't put in the work to distinguish themselves from all the other blue chippers they compete with at the next level.

I'm not singling any of them out, though, because first they are 18 freaking years old, many with strange or broken families, and you just don't know what's going on no matter how many messageboards you read. If I had to single anyone out it wouldn't be Reuben Foster, though, because his job is easy: do what Saban says and he'll be a superstar. He's got that kind of talent already. He doesn't need to do what some other kids have to do-- gain 30 pounds, change positions, etc. Reuben just needs to make grades, line up in the right spot, and play ball. Others are going to have it a lot tougher.

If you make me pick somebody to be a bust, I'm picking somebody with "ATHLETE" as their position. Because they have learning to do somewhere-- at some specific position-- before they hit the field.

Sorry a 18 yr old seems too immature to you.

ETA: It's probably safe to say one of 'Bama's RBs. We have a ton. Playing time eventually MAY be an issue.
