Petit-Frere - 5* OT - 55 percent to UF. Though no one really has a clue with the kid.

Williams Barnes - Top 50 OT - 60% UF - UNC gaining ground

Richard Gouraige - Top 100 OT - 85 % UF - Committed but not signed

Justin Watkins - 4* WR - 115th overall - 85% UF

Noah Jefferson - Three Star JUCO - 35% UF

Dorian Gerald - Three Star JUCO(#1 position) - 12 % UF - lead

Caleb Johnson - 3 star DT - 100% UF

Jonathan King - 3 star WDE - 100% UF

I probably missed a few. Some have older predictions obviously like King. In play for a few more just not the favorite or would be on here.

5* CB Tyson Campbell - 50%, rumored silent commit
4* LB Otis Reese - 73%, don't think we get him at this point though
4* LB Quay Walker - Tied with Bama at 38%, kind of like Reese I don't think we get him at this point

Odd that we are expected to land 4* WR Tommy Bush and yet the CBs are overwhelmingly in favor for Baylor

Bush is a weird one. Florida fans feel good about him suddenly for some reason as well. I don't know what Baylor is doing over there to convince kids to sign the dotted line...

I'm guessing hookers. Also...damn you for taking Tyler Durden My Okcupid profile a few years back was TylerDurdenluvsyou - and the profile was his story. Cool girls got it and played along. Others called me a liar, a dumb arse, etc. It was fun.

We have 4 tackles,
Ivey, Delance, Banks, and Forsythe. Taylor who played RT the last 2 years is better at Guard. Ivey is the only proven guy we have. Two just got on campus. Delance is a transfer from Texas that never saw the field and Banks is a 3 Star Juco guy. Forsythe is a 3rd year guy that has taken about 10 snaps. We need an influx of talent in a very bad way.

To be honest, i dont think A&M actually leads for anyone at this point. We've lost out top DL commit and our only LB commit in the past few weeks. It appears ossai is now believing that big 12 teams try to play defense and is trending away. Waddle is likely Bama bound, Martin from CA is leaning okie, and ITS appears to be a Bama lean, and O'Neal is leaning Clemson. Then again, i don't know if there are many scholarships left to play with since the attrition level has been lower tham expected at this point

We need OT's badly. Biggest positions of need.

OT/LB/Safety

Losing on Walker really hurt. Only have one sure LB commit right now. Chatfield would be a big get for OLB for us but that's iffy.

I agree with Durden’s assessment. I think we have 2-3 spots open. We 20 guys that gave signed letters of intent. 2 commits that are takes - Davis and Walthour.

Campbell - I think will be a Dawg
Bush - Would be suprised if he isn’t a DAWG
We really need another big body 6’5 type receiver and he fits the bill.

For our last spot, I think we may keep or sign one of the following:
Walker- Unlikely
Reese- Unlikely
Leon O Neal - Watch this one closely. Tucker was in Texas last week to see him. I think things are starting to turn in our favor here which makes me feel worse on Walker or Reese.

Kirby also likes to save a spot an give late commitable offers st the 11th hour.

First class, we got Brian Herrian and last year, it was Akhil Crumpton.

Do y'all hold on to the #1 spot (not that it really matters)?

Ohio State got a 4* DT out of NJ today and is less than a point behind now. Again, not that it matters. They're both fantastic classes. It's just interesting off season conversation.

5 Star CB Patrick Surtain Jr. 95 %
5 Star WR Ja'Marr Chase 86 %
4 Star CB Mario Goodrich 62 %

That should be our finish

Barnes is a G. UF had two guards last year playing OT IMO. Need some true tackles.

Probably, but 247 final rankings definitely seemed to be designed to make that a conversation at least... (see discussion on our recruiting thread from yesterday - with Clemson, Bama, Ohio State all receiving generally positive movement to their commits, and UGA receiving generally negative movement).

If we close with everyone on his list *but* the ? spot of Walker/Reese/O'Neal/etc, it puts us at 316+ overall. Adding Walker and it's 319+. (Reese and O'Neal both put it just above 319 as well.) Prior to the re-ranking, it would have been over 321.

Well Ivey is a tackle but was poorly coached. Oline development has been awful. Heve may suck at recruiting, but he is a good Oline coach at least.

Good assessment. I don’t really care either way. The rankings from the three services are just all over the place. It is an interesting conversation, and I would like to have the top SEC class for the first time in many years. BAMA will close strong, but hopefully we can hold on to it.

South Carolina's class is about finished. We already have 22 commits to the class, with 12 early-enrolled now, and that includes a gray-shirt from the 2017 class.

We can add either 2-3 more due to at least one player on the roster transferring out (CB Kaleb Chalmers), plus we still have 3 more commitments that we have not yet accepted LOIs from, due to their academic situations still being determined. Former commit DB Marlon Character - a former Auburn player that transferred out to JUCO - ended up de-committing because his offer had conditions of graduating early from JUCO and enrolling at USC for spring, and he wasn't able to accomplish that.

The top two we still have left on our board:

4-star OT Dylan Wonnum: 92% SC, AU 8% (13 predictions) - it's basically down to us two, but Auburn just lost their OL coach to Texas

4-star DT Rick Sandidge: 100% SC (27 predictions) - needless to say, would be a major upset to lose this one. UGA and UNC are the next schools up for him.

UF's has changed a bit.

Barnes is no longer favored to UF. Looks UNC bound as well as Ed Monte.

NPF seems to be picking up UF steam

4 star DB Noah Boykin is committed to Maryland, but every major CB now has him at UF. Highly doubt he doesn't come here. Wasn't on the list before. Would be a big get.

Noah Jefferson doesn't seem like he will qualify

Caleb Johnson is a UF CB favorite. Will be in only if we can't fill with others I suspect. Three star WDE.

He's visiting this weekend. This visit should make or break the Dawgs chances.
