Anything can happen in recruiting, and the fact that y'all got him to travel to your campus means a lot, but I would still be ver surprised if he did not sign wit A&M. He is actively recruiting for A&M and if forming a lot of friendships not only with current players and coaches, but with a group of A&M commits.
But we'll see. Never can tell in recruiting. You can't consider anyone a lock, especially when they are visiting other places.

Honestly, probably zero. Mack has been all aggie for what seems like forever now. It would be a hell of an upset if he goes anywhere besides A&M

He apparently said a few days ago he's visiting Ohio State so who knows what's going on. This one will be full of drama I'm sure, he just happens to be the type of player where he's worth it

Commitments aren't actually commitments anymore. Nothing more than a reservation these days. If recruiting wasn't like crack, I wouldn't follow this shite. Lol

It really does suck that my mood can be determined by some 17 year old kid that plays high school football. Dammit, I wish LOIs could be signed at any point during their senior year.

So damn true.

Player A--after giving a coach/school a verbal--visits other schools, only to be told by the original school: "Sorry kid. You just lost your offer." Of course, fans respond with a chorus of, "Hell yeah," "Showed him!," "If he doesn't want to play here, good riddance," and "Way to set a precedent, Coach!"
Player B--kids like Daylon Mack--verbals to a school, takes a couple of other visits, and fans bust out with, "He's in HS--I understand," "He needs to be sure, and I don't blame him," "This is good for us; he's just taking free recruiting vacations … I'd do the same if I was him."
Cracks my shite up.

Just passing on this latest bit of info. Looks like he's back in the fold for now
quote:
“It really wasn’t anything that Coach Sumlin said that made be 100% again,” Mack said. “I just talked with my parents, and my dad and I always joke around about colleges, and he said, ‘go where they love you,’ and they love me in Aggieland. No other school is going to love me like they do.”
quote:
As far as future visits are concerned, Mack appears to be done with trips outside the College Station city limits.
“I’m not going to check anything else out,” he said. “I have nothing planned right now and I probably won’t check anything else out.”
