33 catches for 359 yards and 1 TD?
Did he get hurt three games into the season?
It sounds like his ranking is based off potential. He's a freak athlete, but production leaves much to be desired for sure.

Has really been mentioned in ole miss circles.

He has had a bizarre recruitment. A lot of it centers around the fact that football hasn't really been of much interest to him relative to basketball. Elite athlete for sure but have to call into question whether his heart is in it; SEC football isn't for the feint of heart. The training alone before the season is enough to make some guys quit or at least fall to the back of the pack.

TN needs speed desperately at WR to have a complete O this season. We have the tall outside WR's but we need a burner bad.
If we have to take a risk to get it, it is worth it IMO.

Great athlete but most felt he didn't have a passion for football. His first love is bball and for some reason UGA never seemed to show serious interest. I would take him in a heartbeat just based on potential.

Love of football is a big concern with him. Great athlete

Someone who may end up not panning out because of the grind of CFB is the concern?

Is he a good enough basketball player to play at the college level?

If he shows up the 29th weekend uncommitted I'll believe we have a shot.

Fair warning - he isn't a plug and play guy. You would take him for his potential in 2-3 years, not to plug a hole this year.

Yes he is good enough to play Bball at the college level but most feel he's a better football prospect.
He was quoted as saying I love football but I really really love basketball.
He would be a guard and some schools were recruiting him to play football and basketball but I think he ends up sticking to football.

That's too bad, we will still need him at that point but need someone to step in this fall.
Hopefully someone on the roster already steps up like Vincent Perry.

Sources told GoVols247 on Wednesday that Tennessee appears to be in the driver’s seat for the Top247 senior athlete from Warner Robins (Ga.) High School coming off his visit with the Vols, and he could be ready to announce his decision as early as Thursday after receiving an in-home visit Wednesday from Tennessee wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni.
While sources close to Callaway’s recruitment believed he could be ready to commit to the Vols on Wednesday, one source indicated Wednesday night that Callaway — who has been one of UT’s top wide-receiver targets for months — now is hoping to announce his decision during a ceremony Thursday at his school.
If Callaway follows through on making his college choice known Thursday, Tennessee is believed to be the clear favorite to land him. He previously had scheduled official visits to Mississippi State this weekend and Ole Miss next weekend, but sources said Wednesday that Callaway is not likely to take either visit if he chooses the Vols this week.
Hope this happens tomorrow.
