Not a bad pickup. I don’t know if he’s an upgrade or not, but he’s definitely worth a scholarship if I’m UT.

Solid pick up. Are y'all concerned about Guarantano and his dad being upset over this? Heard rumors in the past that his dad is an issue.

Nope. We needed an experienced QB regardless of Guarantano's potential feelings. Before Chryst committed we had a RS-SO, SO, and FR as our only scholarship QBs on our roster.

No. With that OL we're going to need two QBs. Right now, we've got JG, Will McBride, and the incoming freshman. Chryst had a lower QBR playing at Stanford than JG playing behind our OL.
JG has all Spring to solidify his position as starter. But we desperately need depth at QB.

Thanks for all the responses. I doubt Pruitt will deal with any shite from Guarantano or his Dad anyways.

He started quite a few games and the Vols got a good pickup for sure.

Not saying this guy is going to be all world, but I think yall's qb issues were mcelwain related. He just couldn't get it going there for whatever reason.
