Vols commit Wanya Morris talks Tennessee, Clemson and Auburn (embedded video)
quote:
GRAYSON, GEORGIA — According to 5-star offensive tackle Wanya Morris of Grayson High, a school located about 30 minutes east of Atlanta, flipping him from his Tennessee commitment won’t be easy. “It’s going to be pretty hard because once me and my mom get our minds made up it’s pretty hard to flip it.” That, however, hasn’t stopped Auburn from trying. Or Clemson.
This week, Morris, the No. 1 tackle and No. 7 overall recruit nationally in the industry generated 247Sports Composite, said he likely will officially visit Auburn the weekend of Oct. 13 -- when the Tigers play host to the Vols. Two of his best friends — 5-star linebacker Owen Pappoe and 3-star center Jakai Clark — are Auburn commits and have been in his ear a lot. Pappoe said earlier this week Auburn still has a shot.
As for Clemson, Morris said that school was a childhood favorite. "As a kid, Clemson was always my dream school, so that right there plays a factor," Morris said. "Love the area. I have family in South Carolina. I just love Clemson, I just love Clemson."
So, who’s No. 2 right now for Morris? "Probably Auburn, but it's a good fight between Auburn and Clemson," he said. In the video above, Morris talks in-depth about Tennessee, Auburn and Clemson, his relationships with each program, potential official visit plans, when he plans to sign his Letter of Intent and more.

This should be an easy decision for him. Does he prefer a campus with a lake or not?

Just don't see this kid flipping. He's bought into Pruitt's message about being part of the Vols rebuild. Also from the sound of things his momma is the one that will be hardest to flip

Yea, I just don't see it happening unless UT has some cataclysmic season. He is fully on board with being the "star" of the rebuild effort. If that's what he wants, go get it kid. He'll be a good player wherever he goes.

Especially with the depth of our o-line. Should be easy to recruit o-linemen.

Lol, if Auburn finally decides it wants to be a big boy program, we’ll pay whatever it takes to secure his commitment, unlike the original approach we took to the Justin Fields, Andrew Booth, Jadon Haselwood, Wanya Morris recruitments.
Wish we would play the game like our rivals but Gus is a little bitch and doesn’t think it necessary.
Oh well.
