Seems like Bama went after better athletes than kickers that year. The fact both Williams and Foster did more than just kick was brought up constantly. You can't go one article without seeing that Foster was a MLB or Williams was a LB and a TE.
I guess they wanted tacklers at the position, which I guess they got. Hopefully they've learned that bigger is not always better from here on out...

Griffin better kick-off for a touchback cause that dude couldn't tackle Landon Collins' girlfriend. He looks like he is 14.

His girlfriend is an athlete. You'd be better off saying he couldn't tackle Bowden aka Oneal19/mclovin
