Murray - Jamal Murray? What has he done recently to show that he's "top 10"? He's a looooonnnnggg ways from that in most rankings. Just curious.
Did I miss something from his showing at the Hoops Summit? That alone moved him in the rankings. The kid is possibly reclassifying and is a 5 start.

Well, seems the Johnnies are thinking they are falling behind, they had a last minute visit with him yesterday...right after Cal visit.

Kentucky will get bounced in the round of 32 next year..... as a 3 seed

Is it? Rivals isn't awful, but I thought that people used ESPN primarily for hoops.

I'd rather be bounced in the first round than blow an undefeated season to a bunch of white kids in the final four in front of a national audience, but that's just me

Enjoy your player, kiddo. Leave this thread to the schools that win stuff.
Now, back to the relevant programs. I can't remember a time that Kentucky was so defensive about it's basketball program. I smell fear.

Our basketball history is a hell of a lot better then yours. Neither of our programs are anything to brag about, but at least we've been to multiple Final Fours and Elite Eights.

No you haven't. Both have 10.
Plus, other than one in 2004, Mississipi State hasn't won one since 63.
I'm sure you're counting conference tourney titles. Those are NOT conference championships.

Like BobBarker said, neither of our programs are anything to brag about and both are mediocre/respectable basketball schools.

We don't count our baseball tourney titles as conference titles.
How am I dumb? I pointed out your inaccuracy. We both won 10 SEC conference regular season titles. Ours however are
much more recent than State.
4 of your 10 predate WWI.
Ask anyone if a tourney title equates a conference title.
Keep laughing....

Yeah if you don't count conference tournament championships. How can you win a conference title and not be considered conference tournament champions that season?

It's not a conference title. It's pretty self-explanatory. It's why you will see a banner for each, each listed separately, and mentioned separately. They're both accomplishments, but only one is a conference regular season title. After that, it's postseason. The other is a tournament title.
There is a reason the conference champion is announced prior to the tourney, and it's not for seeding.
Understand?

So you can be regular season champs and conference tournament champs. They are both champions of the SEC. Why is this so hard to understand?

Like it or not, LSU is relevant in basketball now. If JJ lands on his head this year, we will slip back with you guys, but for now, LSU is very much relevant.

You said "conference titles"
You have 10. 3/4 predate the Disco era. 4 predate WWI. Most recently 2004.
LSU has 10 as well. Most recently 2006, and 2009.
You're case to state a tourney title is a conference title will fall on deaf ears wherever you go.
