It is very weird, but we have never had much luck there at all, but it also doesn’t seem like they have established some sort of pipeline with another school.

To be fair it’s a fairly poor area in South Georgia so I’m sure the motivation to commit can be swayed with good recruiting tactics.

I once had to spend the night in Cordele on my way home to Knoxville from Miami, I was 19-20 at the time, so I was broke and couldn't afford a decent place to stay.
Can't remember the name of the hotel, but it was like $20 a night. Nastiest place I've ever stayed, I mean I felt dirtier AFTER I took a shower than I did before I took it. No TV in the room, and I got woken up in the middle of the night by some crackhead bitch knocking on the door looking for money. Couldn't wait to get the frick out of there.

Haven't read the whole thread but FWIW Rusty Mansell said on the Bulldog Roundtable this a.m. on 680 in Atl that the Walker to UT talk is getting very strong...

Would be huge for VOLS considering we are going to a 3-4 and linebackers was already one of our thinnest/weakest units

In November there was a lot of confidence on AU's side that he would flip. That confidence has since faded but it wouldn't be the craziest thing in the world if he chose AU. He has a really good relationship with our linebacker coach Travis Williams & his teammate Big Kat Bryant is on roster. There was a time Walker said he was going to go wherever Big Kat signed. He's since backed away from that but the 2 are still close
The consensus seems to be that Tennessee has the lead but he could still land with any of AU/BAMA/TEN/UGA. It's foolish to write off anybody or assume any of those 4 don't have a chance right now. I think he ends up with the Vols but plenty can change between now & NSD

I stayed at a really cheap motel in Tennessee and it was the complete opposite. Quiet and clean, it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. It was about 20 dollars as well. It was like 10 years ago so I can't remember any real details other than ''I know I saw a dirt cheap motel sign on the highway'' and gave it a shot on the way back.
Tennessee, as much as I hate the University, is a beautiful state.
