How did that happen? Did Dabo forget to recruit LB one year?

It's just the way it shook out over two years where we signed a decent number and some guys redshirted. A couple of those guys are depth guys like the Davis twins and Chad Smith.

We will still have some studs at LB next year between Tre Lamar, Shaq Smith and Isaiah Simmons... All potential NFL guys... We just won't have the crazy experienced depth like we have this year that goes three and four deep.

Bump.

Obviously very early in Urban's transition out, but I will be interested to see what his resignation means in terms of recruiting

Won't mean much for 2019, but going forward, it will end the Urban stranglehold on STA and Trinity Christian, hopefully allowing UF to establish some pipelines there.

One fewer elite team grabbing top 100 Florida recruits is always appreciated.

Based on what has been seen so far, the names to address first are Battle and Lejond for the 2020 class

Battle was already a 50/50 guy, but sounds like there is an in-home with him tonight or tomorrow. He was always going to be a tough keep even if Meyer stayed.

Lejond removed his OSU stuff from his twitter profile, but as you said it's early and he may just be taking a step back

Word is Meyer may stay employed by OSU in some sort of role with the football team, which could help with the transition
